个人简介

Markos Papageorgiou教授是交通运输领域的国际领军学者,长期从事自动控制与优化理论及其在交通运输系统和其他领域的应用研究,曾担任交通运输领域国际知名期刊 Transportation ResearchPart C主编、IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems副主编;国际电气电子工程师学会(IEEE)终身会士、国际自动化联合会(IFCA)会士。主导开发了宏观交通流模型 METANET,是至今应用最广泛的宏观交流模型,为全世界300多个交通科研、管理、规划部门所采用;研发了世界首个反馈型局域匝道控制器 ALINEA、多匝道协同最优控制策略与系统AMOC、反馈协同匝道控制系统HERO,成为局域匝道控制的一个标准技术范式并在450多个交通管理系统中应用,荣获澳洲交通部多项大奖;首创了自适应城市交通信号控制系统TUC,在以色列、英国、德国、希腊等国家获得成功应用。在交通领域国际知名期刊和会议上发表学术论文500余篇、会议论文300余篇,并受邀在500余个国际大会上做主题演讲。主持了欧盟项目等各类科研项目50余项,项目经费超过880万欧元(约7000万人民币),连续两次获得欧洲至高荣誉的欧洲研究理事会(ERC)高级人才项目的资助,针对21世纪交通难题提供了创新的解决方法、途径和手段,开创性地提出了互联互通和自动驾驶时代下道路交通新范式。
